Humane Society offers discounted vaccinations and more
YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Humane Society of Central Washington held a vaccination and micro-chip clinic Saturday.
Hundreds of people lined up for discounted shots in Yakima.
People could get micro-chips, rabies, and dog and cat vaccinations, all for $10 each!
People were taking advantage of the great deal too.
The Humane Society works with a local veterinarian to be able to offer such low prices.
"Well part of our mission statement is to educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We believe it's important to offer this service at a reduced price so all can afford it," said Erica Seaver-Engel with the Humane Society of Central Washington.
The Humane Society says even though they struggle to get funding for themselves, they want to be able to continue to offer this yearly service for people and their pets.
