RICHLAND, Wash.--Dozens show up for anti-war rally. It was at the John Dam Plaza. The peace rally was organized by the Group World Citizens for Peace organization.

People were gathered all along George Washington Way. They had signs with a message to stop military action in Afghanistan.

They say there are other ways to deal with international problems that are not violent. Chairman Jim Stoffels says "we can't make war against a criminal organization. Which is what we've done, invaded a country. It wasn't the country that attacked us."

The event marks the 10th anniversary of the U.S. invasion in Afghanistan. The program had various speakers talk about the issue of war. Followed by songs, music and the demonstration. The rally lasted for several hours. The World Citizens Group is against all wars and nuclear force.

Another political rally is expected to be scheduled next week in the same area.
