RICHLAND, Wash.--Corporation protests. People throughout the United States are exercising their First Amendment right by speaking out and protesting.
This week people rallied on George Washington Way in Richland to protest corporations. They say big businesses are taking money away from the smaller groups and people should be spending their money locally.
Protestor David Willis says "local businesses are struggling in this economy and the only people that care about local businesses are the locals around here. Washington doesn't care."
The group says they will organize another protest on October 15th at John Dam Plaza in Richland. They expect an even bigger turn out.
