RICHLAND, Wash. -- A Richland family that lost their son to cancer, is giving back to other sick children.
The Zaugg's presented toys to Kadlec's pediatric center this morning. Their son Aidan died from cancer several years ago. He would have turned ten in August.
His parents wanted to do something to help other parents and their children take their attention off the illness. "It's scary to know that your child has to be treated medically and you know they're scared and as a parent all you want to do is comfort them," explains Tanya Zaugg.
The family also donated a wheelchair that Aidan used during his last months while being treated at Kadlec.
