Two for one deals help businessesPosted: Updated:
KENNEWICK, Wash.—In today's economy we're all looking for that great deal to help save us a few bucks, and now there are a number of different tools offering discounts. However, coupons give you more than just a bang for your buck. They can also help businesses.
"Our budget might not be so good with marketing so what Two for Tuesdays has brought us is given a good deal for the consumer and also with us," says Jason Mokuiki, Veritas General Manager
Two for Tuesdays brought to you by NBC Right now, Seize the Deal and Spotted Fox are just three of the local two for one deals. Basically, you subscribe to one of the groups and get a great deal of the day, which is 50% to 90% off local products in the Tri-Cities.
"It brings people in here who might not normally know where we're at, and we get that visual through the community, and once we get them through the door it's where we want them," says Jason Mokuiki, Veritas General Manager.
"Probably five more customers each week. It's been good. I've already had two or three this week and its Thursday," says Carri Corier, Studio 1 Stylist.
According to a Borrell Survey, the average deal brings 86 new customers and 20 become repeats. One business owner says there is only one downfall.
"Obviously the negative aspect is it does cost you your food costs, but if you're getting more traffic and it's bringing you repeat business it all equals out," says Jason Mokuiki, Veritas General Manager.
If you want to sign-up for any of the two for one deals, the best way is to head to their website, and you can pick and choose the kind of coupons you want sent to your inbox.
