YAKIMA, Wash- A group rallied Friday evening in Yakima in support of the occupy Wall Street movements. They said they were protesting the corporate greed that they say led to America's economic problems.
They also called on congress to hold Wall Street responsible and stop trying to repeal the recent financial reform laws.
"Here in Yakima we're part of the 99-percent that don't have $1 million and we feel that our government and the corporations need to be held accountable", says protester Mary Stephensen.
Friday's protest was not an actual "Occupy" event. However there is an "Occupy Yakima" rally scheduled for tomorrow morning. It's going to be at millennium plaza at 11:30.
