YAKIMA, Wash.-- A Yakima woman is kidnapped, assaulted, then let go, and it all happened in about 14 hours.

Yakima Police say a 37 year-old woman was abducted  around 5am Thursday morning at the Sunshine Motel, on the 1200 block of N. 1st St.
The woman's identity is not being released.

Employees at the motel noticed the kidnapping after looking through some security footage. They say the victim was not involved in anything illegal.

"That area is certainly a high crime area, its certainly got its own reputation. But what the motive is, we're still unclear of," said Lt. Mike Merryman.

The victim was released around 7:30 Thursday night near the Caribbean Casino in Yakima.

She has non life threatening injuries.

Police have found the vehicle involved in the kidnapping, and arrested two female suspects. They are still looking for 1 or 2 male suspects.
