RICHLAND, Wash.-- Occupy Wall Street protest in Tri-Cities. It was part of the 'Occupy Tri-Cities' protest. It's not just going on in Tri-Cities. It's a national protest.
Groups of people are gathering today to say they've had enough. They are demonstrating against Wall Street and other corporate companies.
Some of the demonstrators say they want more democracy. Protestor Pat Nagle says "I've got kids, I've got grand kids that I am more concerned with that if we don't stop and take some action we won't be there in the future."
They say they want large companies like Coca-Cola and Pepsi to pay their fair share of taxes. The protest has been going on all day.
The 'Occupy Tri-Cities' group spread the word about the demonstration through Facebook where they have more than 400 members.
