Local storage facility to add climate controlled units
PASCO, Wash., -- 86 new temperature-controlled units at Security Mini Storage in Pasco will be ready for rent by mid-October.
The Road 28 business has grown over the past 15 years to just under 85-thousand square feet of space.
But that growth hasn't necessarily come easily. The City of Pasco required Security Mini Storage to build a curb and a street next to their buildings before the newest expansion could take place. So the family owned business hired Kennewick's Ray Poland and Sons to build the road so they could move forward with their plans.
The mini storage has a state-of-the-art security system and a resident manager, who has been with the company since the mid-90s.
"If you put fine furniture or things that could be damaged by excessive heat or cold into a new unit, they'll store much better and for a longer period of time," says owner David Olsen. "Climate control also assures that your items are stored safely."
