KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Kennewick Lions are preparing to host the rival Southridge Suns, an intense cross-town match-up. SWX will have the live broadcast Friday night in the Tri-Cities and Yakima regions. Kickoff is at 7:30. SWX will have the stream online as well. Find the link on NBCRightNow.com.

Kennewick appreciates the history with Southridge. "It's a long--at least a couple of decades now--rivalry. It means a lot to the coaches and the community and the player, and that's our focus right now," said Bill Templeton, Kennewick head coach.

"Southridge is more of a--at least since I've been here--more of an intense rivalry. It's just because I went to middle school with most of those kids. So it'll be a fun game. I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad I get the opportunity to play in a big game like that," said Bryce Leavitt, Kennewick senior quarterback.
