KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Car dealership fire. Monday afternoon firefighters worked on a suspicious fire in Kennewick. It happened at 520 Columbia Drive, which used to be an old car dealership building.
Four fire crews were called out around 4:00 p.m. Firefighters and police are still investigating the cause. Kennewick Fire Chief Battalion Tod Kreutz says "any time you have a vacant building we're looking at different things such as arson, transient, electrical."
Firefighters got the fire out in about fifteen minutes. After they were still looking for more hot spots in some of the walls. They are still evaluating the amount of damage to the building.
One firefighter was sent to Kennewick General Hospital with minor injuries.
