KENNEWICK, Wash -- The Richland girl's soccer team is getting ready for the playoffs. They finished the regular season atop the Big Nine 4A conference with eleven wins and no losses.

Right now Richland is playing its best soccer, and key members of the team are recovering from injuries. The offense has picked up as well. Richland hopes to ride the momentum through the playoffs, which starts at home on Saturday against Moses Lake. After that Richland takes on the Greater Spokane League.

"the GSL is incredibly strong we've seen a couple of them already and see them at camp this past Summer and they have some great girls. And there's some really good teams up there. So no game will be a walk. Just securing first place is not going to get you through like it has in past years," said Richland head coach Sara Elfring.
