Nationwide warrant issued for Pasco man wanted in Kennewick shooting
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- It has been almost a week since a Pasco man allegedly walked into a Kennewick party and opened fire into a crowd, but police are no closer to catching 20 year old Victor Paniagua. They believe he may be trying to flee the country, and have asked help from US Marshals and ICE to help capture him.
There is $500,000 nationwide extradition warrant for his arrest. Police say Paniagua walked into an apartment party on 52 N. Edison last Sunday, and opened fire into a crowd, hitting three people. He is wanted on three felony assault charges.
"If he's willing to have that much reckless abandon in an environment like that, and create that much danger, who knows what else he's capable of," says Commander Trevor White with the Kennewick Police Department.
Police say he is extremely dangerous, and to call 9-11 if you see him.
