RICHLAND, Wash.--A teenager hit by a car has died. The Richland teenager who was hit by a car more than a week ago died Friday in the hospital. Richland Police say 16-year-old Sierra Rose Murray was crossing on Thayer drive near Longfitt Street in Richland at around 6:30pm on October 20th.
She was walking to a choir concert at her school when she was hit by 58-year-old George Templeton of West Richland. Police say she was wearing dark colored clothing, and the driver didn't see her. Sierra suffered severe head and leg injuries from the impact of the car and died late Friday night at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
