Woman tries to fight way out of store; charged with robbery
YAKIMA, Wash.-- A woman in Yakima is accused of robbery after she allegedly tried to fight her way out of a store yesterday.
Police say the 37-year-old woman was stuffing items under her jacket at the A&A Mart on Fifth Avenue. When an employee confronted the suspect, a fight broke out. The suspect allegedly kicked and hit the worker, and even bit her.
Police arrested the 37-year-old in the parking lot. She was booked into the Yakima County Jail for first-degree robbery and outstanding warrants.
