RICHLAND, Wash.--Local art show brings in hundreds of visitors. It was at The Art Space in Richland where almost 400 people checked out work from local artists. There were 16 different artists from around the area with different displays.
The artists work on their creations all year, and only open the studio for one weekend to display their art to the public.
We're told in a technology hungry world, it still cannot overcome art. Artist Ron Gerton says "to see handmade stuff by local people is even more thrilling because you just don't know what your neighbor next door, what their skills and talents they have."
People checked out different crafts made from watercolors, fused glass, pottery and more. Some of the art pieces were also sold to visitors.
