Richland, Wash.- Experts at Motorcycle Safety Inc. say it takes a lot more skill to ride a motorcycle than it takes to drive a car.

They say taking a class from qualified instructors is the best way to learn how to be a responsible rider.

People jump on a bike for a lot of reasons, including the feeling of freedom and independence.

"To have an NBA, that means no boy allowed ride," says Daisy Burton

But it's hard to enjoy the ride when you don't know the basics. And that's what they teach at Motorcycle Safety Inc.

"The main thing they teach us is SEE. Search, Evaluate, and Execute," says Vanessa Torbay.

The instructors teach students how to do a U-turn, how to make emergency stops, and all the things the DOL tests you on. Then they evaluate your progress. Passing their course means you can skip the exam at the DOL.
