MOSCOW, Idaho -

There are a lot of unanswered questions in Moscow this week, chief among them being who will the starting quarterback be this Saturday against Utah State.

Taylor Davis started the last two games for Idaho. He won one game and lost last week against BYU. He replaced Brian Reader, who went 1-7 to start the season.

Both quarterbacks will have to bring their ‘A' game to practice this week, as head coach Robb Akey said he still hasn't decided who will get the nod.

"I want to see how they handle things today and tomorrow," said Akey at practice on Tuesday. "We did this a couple of weeks ago coming out of the Hawaii game. We'll see how they handle the scenario coming out last week into this game, and the competitive situation, some decision-making and some things like that. I like to think that will determine itself by the end of [Wednesday's] practice."

Saturday's game against the Aggie's will be Idaho's final home game of the year, followed by a bye week. Their final game of the year is Dec. 3 at Nevada.
