Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign starts in Yakima
YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Salvation Army in Yakima started their Red Kettle Campaign today. Volunteers stand out in front of stores next to a red kettle, ringing bells and urging people to donate.
Last year, the Salvation Army in Yakima raised 105,000 dollars. They hope to raise more this year. They'll have bell ringers in 25 locations in Yakima and 23 locations in the Tri Cities until December 24th.
