KENNEWICK, WA. -- If you can't get to the Apple Cup this weekend, there's still a way to let your team spirit out.
WSU Tri-Cities is throwing a viewing party at the Tony Roma's in Kennewick. The restaurant is well equipped with jumbo projection screens as well as several flat screen TVs to watch the game.
There's no charge to get in, but you have to pay for food. Appetizers will be half off along with lots of drink specials... including a crimson and gray martini.
Melissa O'Neil Perdue, the manager of WSU Tri-Cities Marketing Communications, said, "Cougar spirit is alive and well in the Tri-Cities, and we're really excited that we're having the Apple Cup viewing party at Tony Roma's. So if you're a Cougars fan or a Husky fan, but be careful if you are, if your a cougar fan, come on down to Tony Roma's and wear your crimson and have a good time."
The viewing party starts at 4 PM, and will continue after the game with live music by "The Shades." You don't have to be an WSU alumni to attend, but they do recommend brushing up on the fight song.
