KENNEWICK, Wash.—Long lines and big crowds are both part of the Black Friday experience, now many skip the commotion and wait for Cyber Monday. However, you may not have to wait through the weekend.
Most retailers have discounts on their websites. You can also check shop.org, which features special deals from hundreds of retailers.
Comscore, an online analytics firm, predicts online spending will be up from last year by 14 percent. The average shopper will do about 36% of their holiday shopping online, which is up by 4%.
The Retail Federation says more than 9 in 10 retailers plan to offer free shipping for online orders at some time during the holiday season.
