Union Gap home causing controversy

Posted: Updated:

UNION GAP, Wash.—A Union Gap Home is causing some controversy in the neighborhood.  People who live in the area say they're upset with the signs on the property.

Several different posters have been put up on the 100 block of Market Street, some portraying a marijuana leaf, others alleging abuse by the police department.  Neighbors say they're concerned for children in the area who see the signs every day.

"We have kids living around here, what is it teaching the kids. I'm actually really sick and tired. Every time I'm working out of my kitchen I look out my window I have to look at the signs," says Anja Johnson, Neighbor.

Johnson says the signs attract the wrong kind of attention to the neighborhood, and are frustrating to see every day.
