Sunwest limo giving out free rides for toy donations
YAKIMA, Wash.-- Sunwest Limo is offering free tours of Christmas lights tomorrow to people who bring along a new toy.
The toys go to the Salvation Army for their annual toy campaign. The rides will take about 30 to 40 minutes and there are five limousines. Lisa Sargent of the Salvation Army says about 300 people showed up last year, and they hope for even more this year.
"And it's just been a really fun event and a very fun, creative way to collect toys for the season," says Sargent.
This is the fourth year Sunwest Limo and the Salvation Army have teamed up.
The tours start at 5 o'clock tomorrow night in the parking lot of the Red Robin on Nob Hill Boulevard. Sargent says they'll continue until everyone who donated gets a ride.
