Selah to try a fifth time to pass a school bond

Posted: Updated:

SELAH, Wash- The Selah School District plans to put a new facilities improvement bond on the February ballot.  The superintendent says this $30 million bond is a scaled back version of the $40 million proposal that failed twice last year.

It would build a new junior high school, and make improvements to the high school allowing the district reduce their total campuses from five to four.  School bonds have failed four times in Selah since 2006.
