A candidate for governor discusses Islamic law with community members
KENNEWICK, Wash.--A candidate for governor discusses Islamic law with community members. A candidate for governor was in Tri-Cities Sunday afternoon. Republican candidate Shahram Hadian met with community members at the Garden Assembly Church in Kennewick.
He was giving a presentation on the goal of Islam and the ongoing threat of Shari'ah law in America. Shahram Hadian says "Shari'ah law, the Islamic code is not just religious. It has political connotations, military, educational, financial. It affects every aspect of life, so it is an encroachment on our constitution."
Hadian also addressed common misconceptions of Islam, different terrorist organizations threatening the U.S. and dangerous groups in America that support Shari'ah Law.
