KENNEWICK, Wash., -- Mission Support Alliance (MSA) made a stop at Costco today to pick-up more than $3,000 worth of frozen turkeys.
MSA leads the Hanford Community Food Drive which is in it's 26th year. Employees spent yesterday collecting non-perishable food donations around the Tri-Cities.
Collection boxes have been set up at the Hanford site since the start of the month.
"We know we're pretty fortunate to be working right now with layoffs that came around this past year," says MSA Project Manager Calvin Dudney. "So for us to be able to give back to the community feels good, and it's something that our employees want to do."
Donations will be delivered to area food banks and VFW posts.
