RICHLAND, Wash. -- A Richland School District spokesperson says Richland High School student was hospitalized today (Friday). The 9th grade boy collapsed while running around outside the school with some friends during lunch. The friends ran to get help and two staff members began CPR. The latest word as of 1:55 pm is that the boy's heart is working, but he's not breathing on his own. The student will be flown to Seattle this afternoon and taken to Children's Medical Center.
