The holidays will be a whole lot better for a Tri-City area family, thanks to Friday's special arrival at the airport.

The family was cheering and smiling as they welcomed home Army Private First Class Megan Weiss.

Weiss was greeted at the Tri-Cities Airport by her mom and five brothers. She has been stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina since September of last year. Weiss will be able to stay in the Tri-Cities for the next few weeks and spend time with her family for the holidays.

"We're gonna spend a lot of time together, we're gonna have a lot of fun, and we're gonna to make a lot of more memories. Then when I come back next year we'll have more memories to make," said Weiss.

After the holidays, Weiss will return to Ft. Bragg. She will be deployed to Afghanistan in February, something she says she is looking forward to. Weiss also has a sister currently training in the Navy.
