PASCO, Wash. -- Gregorio Luna Luna was back in court today where he was ruled mentally competent to stand trial.
Luna Luna allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death in her Pasco apartment last May.
The court also denied a motion to suppress DNA evidence that the defense argued was obtained without probable cause.
A trial date has been set for February 13th.
The judge also talked about a series of letters Luna Luna sent him, complaining about his lawyers' lack of interest in the case because he's an illegal immigrant. The judge decided it was not an issue.
