RICHLAND, Wash.-  A traffic accident shut down the Bypass Highway in Richland for several hours this morning.

She hit a pickup truck turning onto the highway.

The Pontiac burst into flames.

Andersen and the man in the pickup were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

Andersen had life threatening injuries.  The man only had minor injuries.

Two other cars collided as a result of the crash. One drove away. Police are looking for that driver.
