KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The video of Connell basketball players fouling Highland players continues to gain attention.

At this time there are no repercussions coming out of this game. However the main offender in the video, Conell senior Cole Vanderbilt, did not play in Friday night's game.

We spoke with North Franklin School District Superintendent Gregg Taylor, and he would not comment on why Vanderbilt did not play or if and when he will play again.

We also contacted the WIAA, who would only say that they are working on the issue. They have no timetable at this point on whether or not they will take any action at all and would not comment further.

Both coaches have blamed the officials. Calls to the Washington Officials Association were not returned. One of the officials from the game was working Friday night's Chiawana and Richland game on SWX, so it is safe to assume that at this time the officials are not facing any repercussions.
