KENNEWICK, Wash. -

Washington State passes with flying colors when it comes to highway safety.

Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety released the 9th annual report Wednesday.

They looked at highway safety laws such as seat belt and motorcycle helmet measures, restrictions and requirements for teen drivers, and texting bans.

Washington State received a green rating; the highest possible grade.
