KENNEWICK, Wash. -

One man is arrested after an assault in Kennewick. Kennewick Police arrested 55-year old Harold Bronson for 2nd degree assault Saturday afternoon.

It happened at the Edison Village Green Apartments in Kennewick. Police say the man assaulted the mother of his child on Friday. They live together in the apartment complex.

Kennewick Police Officer Craig Hanson says "the victim received multiple facial fractures. There's probable cause to believe that assault in the 2nd degree which is a felony, had happened."

Officers talked with the victim who sustained injuries and fractures to the face. She was taken to Kennewick General Hospital Friday night.

Benton County Jail held the man for 72 hours. He was released with a no contact order, but violated that no contact order later Sunday when he tried to call the victim from jail.

Now he's cited for more charges for violating the court order.
