Sportsman Show at TRAC

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, WA. -- The 19th annual Tri-Cities Sportsman Show at TRAC started Friday.

The event features exhibits with the latest in fishing and hunting gear, outdoor equipment and displays, with plenty of shopping.

There are also activities for the whole family, like archery, an air rifle range, the "Lunker Lake" fishing pond and almost non-stop "how-to" seminars with some of the top experts and guides from all over the region.

Merle Shuyler, the producer of the event told us, "well over a hundred exhibitors with different things, and everybody's going to be different at what they're going to like and what they want to see, and they should be able to see it here because of the adversity that we have."

This year's event is one of the biggest of it's kind in the region. It's going on Friday from 1pm to 8 pm, Saturday 10 to 7, and Sunday 10-5, at TRAC in Pasco.

An adult ticket is $8, children ages 6-12 are $4, and children under 6 are free. On Friday, Seniors 60+ can get in for $4. Sunday is "family Day," where two adults and two children (ages 6-12) can get in for $18. Military will receive $1 off admissions if you present your military ID.
