PASCO, Wash.-- -

Big crowds bring big donations at the Family Expo. The 6th annual Tri-Cities Family Expo saw their biggest turnout yet.

More than 5,000 people visited on Friday and Saturday to visit a variety of booths and play children's games. A lot of people who came by the event also donated to the 2nd Harvest food bank.

Event Coordinator Katie Klute says "it's important that to me the people in the community support other people in the community. 2nd Harvest is a prime example and we've had a great reception. People bringing in their can foods and I think it's amazing, you know. There's something to be said for that."

Donors collected two bins of food and cash donations.
