Wendy's closures linked to not meeting operational standards
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- NBC Right Now has an update on the handful of Wendy's fast food restaurants in our area that were closed recently, including locations in Kennewick, Yakima, Walla Walla and Pendleton.
Kitty Munger, from the Wendy's Corporate offices responded to our questions with this "The restaurant was closed in part because it did not meet Wendy's operational standards. The franchisee is working with Wendy's to address these issues, which include evaluating if the store will reopen."
However, employees at other Wendy's restaurant locations say they hope the restaurants will be up and running by the end of February.
The franchises are owned by Zac Dugdale of BZB Multi-State LLC out of Whitefish Montana. NBC Right now was unable to get in touch with him.
