RICHLAND, Wash. -

A Richland golf course needs major repairs after a DUI accident. A Richland golf course needs major repairs after a suspected drunk driver drove across it. Police arrested a woman for DUI, 2 hit and run accidents and possession of marijuana. We checked out the mess left behind Monday.

This accident caused several thousand dollars in damage. Including other cars that were hit by the drunk driver. One of them was even totaled. We stopped by the Columbia Point Golf Course and talked with the General Manager who says the driver, 30 year old Alison Lambie is lucky to be alive.

Police say she drove her 2004 Dodge Durango through the golf course and caused about $3,000 worth of damage. He says if she had driven on the greens the damage would have quickly added up to more than $30,000.

Columbia Point Golf Course Manager Joe Creager says "she turned to the right and missed the green which is the most important part of the golf course. The most expensive part. We spend half of our budget every year making sure the greens are in good shape."

Management says parts of the lawn will need to be completely redone and a tree replaced. Golfers are still able to play on the course. The general manager says he hopes to be reimbursed for the property damage.
