The Red Bazaar sees a boost in business

KENNEWICK, Wash. -

The Red Bazaar sees a boost in business. Local vendors saw a boost in attendees at the 2nd Annual Red Bazaar at the Red Lion in Kennewick. The bazaar had more than 500 people come through their doors which is up from only 150 people last year.

Every year the bazaar owners pick a different charity to work with to help raise money. This year it was for women with heart disease. There were more than 50 local vendors at the event.

One of the sponsors was Mrs. Kennewick International. Nancy-Ellen Martin says "what we're doing is that we're raising money for Go Red through some raffles and door prizes and then all these gracious vendors here have donated items."

Bazaar owners told us the reason they put on the event it to bring more business to local and home businesses. They plan on hosting another bazaar in May at the Kennewick Red Lion Hotel and will be expecting around 700 people to attend.
