WorkSource is looking to expand their workshop program
KENNEWICK, Wash -
WorkSource is looking to expand their workshop program. Lately many of their classes have been full. Each has about 30 students.
Now they're determining which classes should be expanded. Classes vary from creating resumes to interviewing and presentation workshops.
Director Michelle Mann says the workshops are a great tool people can use to get ready for a job interview. She says having the extra skills can help you get a job faster. "Make it more clear to a perspective employer and use all those things so that you can become employed a little quicker," said Mann.
WorkSource is also preparing for their Tri-Cities job fair. It will be on March 15th and they are expecting more than 30 employers at the event.
