PASCO, WA-Pasco police say a victim of domestic violence called for help several times before her murder.

Pasco police arrested Gregorio Luna Luna in May 2010 for the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend.   Months leading up to her murder, four officers say Griselda Ocampo Meza, 21, had called police on three different occasions and said she had been assaulted by Luna Luna.

One officer says Ocampo called on another occasion when Luna Luna violated a court order and confronted her at a local restaurant.

One officer testified that Luna Luna told him he was upset because Ocampo was dating Luna Luna's brother.

Luna Luna is charged with first degree murder. Attorneys are scheduled to begin picking a jury next week.
