PASCO, Wash., -- 2nd Harvest is planning to build a brand-new multi-million dollar refrigeration and office building in Pasco later this year.
A sign was planted this morning to dedicate the construction site for their new home. The organization plans to begin construction by April and move in by September.
It's estimated the building could cost up to $1.7 million, and they are accepting donations.
"We currently have a cooler that's smaller than one you'd find in a McDonalds restaurant and that's our only refrigeration," says 2nd Harvest Director Kathye Kilgore. "So this facility will give us on-site cooler/freezer and each component will be at least 2,000 square feet."
