Pasco City Council Hosts Community Forum

Posted: Updated:

Pasco, Wash. - Pasco residents got a chance to share their concerns with the City Council Tuesday night, and they didn't have to go to city hall. Instead, the City Council came to them.

The City Council hosted a town hall community forum Tuesday night at the Pasco Senior Center.

Just a handful of people attended, but they did bring up some important concerns about impact fees, and the city's water supply. The City Council will use the information gathered at Tuesday's meeting to help them set the city's goals for the future.

"This is a night that we reserve to make sure and listen to the public on things they think Pasco is doing right, or could be doing better, or maybe something that really bothers them and they can vent a little frustration. These sessions are good for that," said Pasco Mayor Matt Watkins.

If you missed Tuesday night's community forum, there is another one scheduled for Thursday night at 7:00pm at the TRAC in west Pasco.
