KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans are in Kamloops Wednesday night. It is a top five CHL match-up. In the new CHL ranking, Tri-City moves up from fifth to fourth. The Blazers drop from second to third. The Americans know they need to bring their best.

"Two great teams. That's why we're both at the top of the standings right now. Each time we play them it's a battle. So whoever gets that last battle wins the game. We're going to go in there and treat it like a playoff game," Americans forward Brendan Shinnimin said.

"Always a good game against those guys. We know they're a tough team being where they are. We have had some good games with them this year. I think it's just one of those things where you've go to go in there with the same intensity," Americans forward Jordan Messier added.
