KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Valentines Day is usually a holiday that the owner of Just Roses looks forward to, but this year, she's worried.
Connie Wormington owns all three "Just Roses" shops in the Tri-Cities, and two out of the three stores have been burglarized in the last week.
She says the Kennewick shop was hit last Friday, and burglars broke into the Pasco shop on Wednesday.
"It's not even Valentines Day. the concern is what's going to happen Valentines Day. I mean it's pretty scary if you ask me, a few of the other businesses are concerned because there's been kind of a rash going on," says Wormington.
Wormington says the thieves took about $300 dollars,. but left at least $700 dollars in damage by breaking the cash registers and the doors of the businesses.
