New information on a shooting that sent one man to the hospital
PASCO, Wash. -
New information on a shooting that sent one man to the hospital. New details we have are that this was not just a random act of violence. Police say the suspect and victim were arguing over something just before the shooting happened.
It happened last night around 10:00 p.m. at the Pic-A-Pop Mini Mart at the corner of 4th and Court Street in Pasco. The two men walked away from each other. Then the suspect ran up and shot the victim in the face. The suspect fled the scene.
The 39 year-old man who suffered injuries was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for serious injuries. Police are still looking for the suspect. Pasco Police Sgt. Ben Majetich says "the best so far what we have as far as a description of the person that we believe shot him was a Hispanic male in mid 20s, shaved hair and a white tee shirt."
Police are looking at surveillance to help identify the suspect. The name of the victim has not been released. Police say he had no gang ties but the suspect may have some gang ties.
