YAKIMA, Wash.-- Students at Yakima Valley Community College in Yakima are taking a stand against domestic violence Monday.
They're holding their 1st Annual Students Against Violence March starting at 11:30am.
Students will gather in the Clock Tower Courtyard to raise awareness about sexual violence.
"Leading the march are going to be men in heels. The reason for the heels, we wanted to show women that we wanted to understand their struggle, even if it's just a small taste and to have a better appreciation for women," said Student Body President, Noah Hall.
Hall says they're putting on the event for students at YVCC who have struggled with domestic violence in the past.
