RICHLAND, Wash. -

POPP plans to open a pet food bank. The Pet Over Population Prevention group is looking for people to donate food items for animals in need.

Right now they're set on opening up a new food bank in the next few months for cats, dogs and other rescued animals. Several businesses are collecting food donations.

We will announce the new pet food bank location once a site has been chosen.

If you would like to donate food for rescue animals you can drop them off at:

Full Throttle Motorcycles, 135 Vista Way in Kennewick; The City of Richland Land Fill Scale house, 3102 Twin Bridges Road (Hwy 240); Vista Paine Center, 6917 W. Grandridge, Kennewick, and the Pet Medical Center in Pasco, 8823 Sandifur Parkway.
