Neighbors want changes made to road where boy was hit and killed
UNION GAP, Wash.-- Friday, a 14-year-old boy was hit and killed. Now people who live in the area are saying that stretch of road has always been a bad area.
Nobody would go on camera with us Sunday but they say the area of Ahtanum Road near 34th Avenue just outside Union Gap has seen several close calls and even other deaths in past years, and they want to take action.
Brandon Harmon was crossing the road just before 6pm when he was struck by a passing car.
The crash was ruled accidental, and no drugs or alcohol were involved.
