KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Grace Clinic got a gracious gift from a local business Wednesday morning.
Abadan, a Richland copy and print dealer donated two checks totaling $11,000 to the Kennewick Clinic. Grace Clinic provides health services to those without insurance or the ability to pay in Benton and Franklin counties.
More than 200 volunteers have served 6,200 people in the community just last year. "We regularly turn people away because we don't have enough capacity, we don't have enough resources. And so that $5,000 will help meet a bigger part of the need that exists in the community," says Mark Brault, the President of Grace Clinic.
$5,000 of the donation is monetary, and $6,000 will go to replace copy machines and provide copy services.
