The 16th Annual Junior Achievement Bowling Classic kicked off Monday at the Spare Time Bowling Alley in Kennewick.
The week-long celebrity theme fundraiser is expected to raise over $300,000 for local students. The money will go to help over 10,000 students in Benton, Franklin and Walla Walla counties.
Over two thousand people signed up to dress up in crazy costumes, bowl and compete in a long list of crazy competitions for the event.
The public is welcome to participate in over a dozen silent auctions throughout the week, including one online. Tuesday through Thursday the event runs evenings from 5:30-7:30, and again from 8-9:30. The event runs from 3-5, 5:30-7:30 and 8-9 on Friday. On Saturday, the fundraiser runs from 1:30-3:30, 4-6, 6:30-8:30, and 9-10:30. Saturday is the last day.
